            Alvin L. Williams was born on June 4, 1978 in St. Thomas to Alvin and Jennifer Williams.  He  attended Primary School at the Thomas Jefferson Annex, Junior High School at All Saints Cathedral School and graduated from the Charlotte Amalie High School, Class of 1996.  Senator Williams attended Morris Brown College and pursued courses in Business Administration in 1996 and 1997.  He  also attended the University of the Virgin Islands in 2003 and 2004, and is currently enrolled  at the University of Phoenix completing his final requirements for a Public Administration degree. 

            Senator Williams returned home in 1997 to become General Manager of his family-owned business,  Alvin Williams Trucking and Equipment Rental.  Under his tenure as General Manager, this company has become one of the largest heavy equipment retail businesses in the Virgin Islands.  This company has been contracted by the federal and local governments to provide major development services in this territory.

            Alvin Williams could be described as a successful businessman who has been involved in multi-million dollar projects which he managed.  He is convinced that he will make a difference in the way that business is conducted in the Legislature of the Virgin Islands.  Senator Williams is also committed to work in the best interest of all people, and to respect and represent them in an effective manner.
