St. Thomas-Members of the Committee on Planning and Environmental Protection, chaired by Senator Louis Patrick Hill met with officials from wireless communication companies and the Department Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR) to discuss the amendments for Bill No. 29-0026 to provide for the regulation of wireless facilities and structures; amending Title 33, Chapter 111, to establish the Wireless Revolving Fund, and providing for related purposes at the Earle B. Ottley Legislative Hall on Thursday.

St. Thomas-The Committee on Planning and Environmental Protection chaired by Sen. Louis Patrick Hill, met with officials from the Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) at the Earle B. Ottley Legislative Hall, to decide the fate of the authority through Bill No. 29-0137. The measure seeks to abolish VIWMA to create the Virgin Islands Management Agency to assume all powers duties and responsibilities to solid waste and wastewater management in the territory.
